Will you be leaping out of hidden branch-covered pits? They scare the hell out of me on Call of Duty WaW!

Anyone even slightly concerned about looking silly as Japanese should take a look at these guys... http://www.japanesereenacting.co.uk/page_1605449.html

Only one of them is Japanese and they look good.

He's a nice chap and was very interested in this WWII airsoft thingy we have going on... :)

He didn't mind too much when I almost impaled him on the end of my bayonet during the photo shoot! Well at least he was too polite to complain!

(Not the dog, I didn't get chance to chat to that)

They definitely do.

The woodland there is very jungle-y too.

This should boost interest for your Pacific games, coming spring next year.

I just pray to god that they got the camo arrangements right. On all of the clips on the 2nd trailer they're wearing the configuration that they wore on Iwo Jima. Looks good though, I just hope it's not all glorifying one unit like BoB.

Starting few scenes look very much like Pelilu Island on COD5, although most islands would have had an airfield that they fought over!

wouldn't that have been the only reason the US would go near the island?

something about the japs getting anywhere near the USA.

can't remember that much, watched thin red line last night and thats about all i remember :good:

yeah and Navy ports. Thin Red line was actually Army Infantry, not the Marines. But yeah, that was Guadalcanal, the island was contested over for a *very* long time.-- attachment is not available --

HBTs then. P41s and P42s is what the Marines were issued with. The Army and Marauders had the M41s

Just bare in mind that Marine HBTs are NOT the same as Army HBTs!

Marines have normal pockets, 3 on the top, 2 on the bottoms (1 front left 1 back right) the trousers don't have the bellowed cargo pockets on the legs like the Army ones.

A pretty reasonable attempt at Japanese, good work. Well except the guy at the back left: he just looks like Justin from The Darkness.

If playing as japs is anything like playing NVA in a nam event then they certainly will have a lot more fun.

BTW, the LARP samurai sword is an excellent idea for the officer impression.
